I can only speak for myself, and i really dont struggle, i thnk i am more one of the top player.
The reason why i use mods is simply that the game is EXTEME Painfull to play, painfull in the sense of
"It feels like you play a 90 Year old disabled guy in a Wheelchair"

And even if i nearly never die (nearly only from trees and falling from roofs) i try to make the Devs aware that without Console commands and Mods i would have stopped playing a long time ago. The balance of the game feels more like "What can we do to give the player the feeling of a nice hard slap in the face." In my opinion, make thegame a permadeath game but reduce the Equipment cost by 50% and the XP costs by 90%
