Hey! that must be the answer....the workbench was destroyed too. I did not know they kept materials from despawning. When fighting Bonemass I teleported back at one point to my home base to "freshen up" and got the Smell form the Swamp event, which I ignored. The Drugers probably destroyed the boat and the bench.
