Most of the player base will be long gone by then. At this point, the updates have broken the game so often that only the die-hard fans will be left to play it.

Sad part is, it's a brilliant concept. Some tweaking and it could have been a joy to play. It was--until they started busting the mechanics of it to force players to play their way instead of just enjoying the fact that creative players will often do unexpected things and developing game breaking updates to punish those players and reducing the sandbox and discovery aspects.

Their day has come and gone and the devs with promises unmet, pardon the pun, missed the boat.

What a pity such a rich imagination isn't expended on the game instead of reading the minds of devs and making silly complaints.

I admire op for playing Valheim, not Google, but when you do that in any game, you sometimes learn by dying. Claiming that this is due to the narrow-mindedness of developers for failing to create a game that anticipates whimsy, always assuring a soft landing is just bizarre.

Fun fact: Telepathy is beyond the scope of computer science today.

Valheim is an RND survival game, In an RND game, stuff happens. It is neither possible nor desirable to prevent bad things from happening. Failure to grasp this is just breathtaking.

I don't think it's the devs who have a narrow-minded idea of what Valheim can be. But, in any case, at least their idea is coherent.
