Now, a question for the developer, when do you expect to finish the game?
I would like to play your game when it's finished.

I am not a developer for IronGate, but to extend on Munin's answer, using Kenshi as an example, Kenshi was in development from Concept to Release 1.0 in roughly 12 years. They were in Early Access for about 5. Mind you, the game started off with one developer and had help along the way.

Another game I was an Early Adopter, Hero-U took about 6 years from Concept to Release 1.0. About 4 of those years were for development with about a year of a break in between.

I surmise Valheim, having a crew of 10 doing various aspects of the project would probably take anywhere from another 3-5 years, for a total of 4-6 years to get to version 1.0 based on an educated guess on how they are releasing updates. They released 26 last year. I don't know for sure of course. There are so many variables to consider. More developers doesn't mean faster development. It usually means slower in fact. Software development isn't anything like production line working in a factory, that a lot of players believe it to be.
