Having the villages automatically respawn fuling would be a good change, of course make it so that there's a condition for them to respawn. Such as some other type of fuling totem, one that's like a ward in the sense that you can place it and if it's in an area of a village, it classifies that village as eligible to respawn fulings in it. So you have the choice to either destroy it, or leave it and let enemies respawn back over time.
Or just add some sort of ward that does the opposite, and when placed in the vicinity of a village, it stops any spawns happening in it. Of course, specifically, enemies that would spawn in the village, and not natural spawns.
I'm of 2 minds on this. If the game was completed, yeah, something for us adventurers.
On the other hand, based on the biome difficulty progression, I expect the mobs in Mistlands to be harder to take out. Heck, they might end up adding sharks or homicidal mermaids to the ocean and piranhas in some rivers.
For the Far North biome, if they don't add Yeti and Frost Giants I will be very disappointed.
