I've found the game really unenjoyable after hearth and home. I feel like there is faster respawn time and an increase in mobs, plus the limitations from the new food systems making stamina so bad, that I am finding single player too frustraiting. It's a shame as I loved this game. It feels like the game is now designed for co-op and they are trying to push people to this playstyle. Anyone else find this? or am i just being really unlucky with repawns
Actually, the food is better now, you just won't eat the "next progression" in food, you need to "management" the food you ear. Food now gives health and stamina, but the majority gives you higher amount of health and almost no stamina, and higher amount of stamina but almost no health. You need to know what to eat so you can have a good amount of each, stamina and health. It's more like know what you eating, instead of just eat the next tier of food and move on.

I just started a game play with my other 6 friends, we didn't kill the first boss yet. I don't know correctly the name of the food, but what I'm eating is the glowing/gold mushroom (or honey if I have it), ribs (drop from deer) and red mushroom. The idea is to have a food that gives you a high amount of stamina, a food that gives you a high amount of health, and the third one could one to enforce your health, enforce your stamina, or be a middle ground.
