Valheim’s progression system is pretty similar to Minecraft, at least when it comes to upgrading gear. The biggest difference though is that Valheim pads the progression behind tons of grind and boss fights.

you can literally have everything from the start if you know what to go for.

progression: is that part where valheim locks things behind biome bosses.

minecraft doesn't do that whatsoever unless you want to think about mob dropped items which is like 0.01% of minecraft.
