"Modar", "Modor"... It's just "Moder", meaning "Mother". Sorry, for being pedantic. ;)

On my main's seed, Moder is still in the "inner circle" of the map, but Bonemass was way off, close to Yagluth.

It all depends on if you have a map which is more islands than continents. If so, Moder could be in a really outlandish position due to needing a larger landmass to being able to spawn larger mountains.
