Troll-proofing your base is something I always do long before I kill Elder. Nice moat and raised earth walls. Let 'em pound on that while I raise my bow skill. :)

Why do I do that? Learned the hard way. I actually tried to hide in my house the first time I ever saw a troll. He smashed the house and killed me in 2 log swings. Whoops!
