That may be true for physical projects limited in space and with a clear end goal, but software? You gotta be kidding me by saying money can't speed things up. snip
They have at least two unfinished biomes, and they are working on one of them if my info is correct. I'm pretty sure it's not an impossible task to organize a second team working on the other one, for example.
Also hire a testing team, that should deal with bugs.
A lead designer with no actual dev work but organizing and streamlining cooperation would help with people tripping over each other.
I can completely understand and accept if they don't WANT to expand the company and they want to develop the game with their original team in their own pace, but that's a decision, not a constraint. It's not because it would be impossible, or that money couldn't help with it, but it's a choice. I too would be snorting cocaine from naked butts of prostitutes with my buddies if I got that kind of money, not hiring more people for the project, for sure.
I can see that people with entitlement issues are frustrating and annoying, but so are arguments to defend the devs that are not nearly true. Also I don't think they need defending.
