Also with a studio of what, 5 people? They're probarbly also spending an insane amount of time finding new people which they now have, last i heard they hired 8 people. Once they settle in and get what they're working on, content is going to be pumped out. And stop saying they "ran with the money" where would they run? This game is literally their passion and they love this game, that money will help them A TON in the run long and they're more motivated than ever to get back to us and give us something, be patient. Rome was not build in a day.

So when they were promising multiple large updates in a year with a smaller team, and they're now barely on track to release the first large update, that must have been because they didn't have an adequate understanding of how buggy their game was. So how do you trust them now to do well with a bunch of (up-front) money in order to develop their game for years in the future, when they can't stick to a road-map for more than a few months?

Rome was built by disciplined murderers, over centuries, and turned into a brutal theocracy which routinely murdered entire populations so they could justify bigger parades. On multiple levels, I don't think the valheim team is going to live up to your expectations. But hopefully you can just keep adjusting them lower whenever they tell you to.
