This is no different then telling somebody to "get good" when they find it too hard. It's just the opposite. Get bad! Play poorly and pretend you're stupid. The answer is not telling people how to play the game, it's the devs actually listening to one of the largest complaints about the game. Difficulty, it's either too easy or too hard.

@Obi-Jorma The game definitely needs difficulty settings. For now I set the Players X setting when I play singleplayer, but it can't be used in multiplayer and it only affects creatures.

Not really true. Some people are new to this type of sandbox game and sometimes don't have the reflex to set challenges to themselves.
For instance on my newer playthrough I nerfed myself by not parrying at all. I had more fun. I parried my way through my first playthrough and greydwarves, trolls, fuelings, they were all the same enemy.
Though it's also on the devs to balance their game as well. That's why it's an EA game and we have tools to give some feedback
