i have a couple of things on my wishlist i would like to see implemented in the game in some way, shape or form. some of them are directly inspired by other people, and some of them are my own ideas, so i can't claim full credit for everything i'm about to list, and some of the ideas might be a bit too far fetched, but hey... here it goes.

1. Tamable Neck; this one i already made a separate thread about which can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/892970/discussions/0/3081016748999833757/
Basically, they would serve as a kind of neutral/tamed pet which are tied to a radius of a player-made neck-nest (a neckst if you will), their purpose would be to hoard water plants, fish and lay eggs in said nest, that the player can collect to use for cooking/crafting. basically resource generator pet. not intended as a combat companion though. can of course be butchered for their meat and named. will become aggressive if it spots the player stealing from its nest, until the player runs away (which will turn it passive again) or kills it.

2. Tamable Bear: basically a middle-ground between a wolf and a lox. sort of high tier combat companion that can withstand more injuries and do more damage than a wolf, yet less than a lox, with the size to fit (wolves are too weak unless 2-star and loxen are too big and clumsy to bring anywhere).

3. Shipyard (wordbench) to improve Longboat - things like:
1. Shield Racks (to increase ship HP) which allows for some customization of your ship, assuming you got the materials to make shields to attach.
2. Water Bucket to bail water (repair ship while sailing) disabled for 30 seconds when attacked or if the ship crashes into a rock - this is to prevent repair-cheesing, basically a repair station that needs to be manned by a player.
3. Higher tier sails (to improve sailing speed) which we can decorate with different sigils and color patterns.
4. Fishing Net (like a trawler) that can be extended and detracted at will at the cost of slower sailing speed, fish from the net ends up in cargo hold when a player hits "E" on the net. very expensive item bought from the merchant.
5. Oars that needs to be manned by players to increase rudder-setting speed.
6. Cargo hold upgrades.

i believe the customization options for ships are, by far, way too few, thus adding some things like this would go a long way.

4. NPCs - this one could be tricky, but basically a system implemented which allows the player to hire a limited number of i.e peasants (thralls) and guards to help them farm materials and guard the base. would require basic housing and can be equipped using player-made items. the way to post a guard would be using a flag system which makes them guard a specific area, like a tower, off duty during the day, on duty during the night.
peasants (thralls) would likewise be assigned a task like chopping wood, smelting metal or harvesting/reseeding crops, but that one is more tricky, these would be off duty during the night and on duty during the day.

this would bring some more life to a single player 'campaign' and remove some of that encroaching loneliness.

5. More Cooking Ingredients like potatoes, fowl, eggs, milk (want some Lox milk yummy...!) along with more food recipes and meads/potions.

6. A New tier of armor and weapons would be nice too, but i'm sure that's already in the works.

7. Some Unique (uncraftable) armor and weapon pieces that can only be found out in the world would also be super interesting, and we all know how players love loot.
for example, i saw a mod yesterday centering around a wand the player can equip to basically become a necromancer, used for summoning skeletons to fight for the player.
items like that would be so much fun, if balanced properly.
