I made mention of a Leash a long time ago only to be told to use the Harpoon, but that is very inefficient and I really don't like damaging my Pets.

The Leash could be made from Braided Troll Hide (That way we have some more use out of Troll Hides).

A leash would be good and seemingly easy to implement (works on friendly only unlike harpoon) but really I want more of a reason to tame pets. I did boars religiously at first but in the long run after many ice drakes raided them down to zero I found I was getting more meat from wild boars anyway. If we could breed 1 or 2 star animals in captivity up from no stars that would solve that. I skipped wolves as their attacks are plentiful in the mountains (though I did consider keeping wolf pens for base defense reason) and am now the proud owner of a Lox named Herbert at my plains outpost. Herbert can crush small plains trees at a gallop while I have the saddle on him but it is still more convenient to dismount and gather myself it seems. They might borrow a page from Ark here and make him a good bulk gather construction machine.
