i agree, too many side upgrades that doesnt feel integrated with its core feature, rather wouldve seen workstation being upgraded into workstation2-3-4-5-6 and etc or why not adding more features into the hammer itself like at the very least being able to deconstruct a boat for starters and/or being integrated into a crafting skill stree that allows for more spontaous crafting I just uninstalled this crap game.
It has what it needs to be a great game, but the creators made nothing but awful decisions on how this world works. The overall mechanics that define the world makes using the system more of a chore than an accomplishment.
- Have to build a workstation, so to can build a stone crafting station.
- Can't repair a hammer because you didn't put a roof on the workstation.
- Can't destroy anything unless a workstation exists.
- Can't place related workstation objects where you want because line of sight beams block each other.
- Bad inventory system 1.) not enough slots 2.) no slots for clothing 3.) can't craft if all slots are used because crafting stations don't have output slots 4.) game can't organize like items when using "Take All" button wasting multiple slots of same item.
There's too many stupid conditions that shouldn't exist that become annoying and this is a small example. I could easily list 50 more. I would use this game as an example of "How Not to Create a Video Game."
valheim really has a lot of potential but somehow doesnt feel like the devs has the vision for it and mistlands really served as a wakeup call for it, hopefully im wrong
