Compared to what? I mean, the animation and combat play is much better than my roguelike games in ASCII mode. It is comparable to other indy offerings at this stage of development. I mean they don't have dozens of people with specialized talents to throw at it. I'd have thought that kind of goes with the whole 'indy' dev thing, sounds like you're expecting AAA release quality.
