I'll give it a 7/10.
My biggest complaints are:
- It takes too long to get the first set of cores. You should be able to start making ML items much earlier and have the grind be to get the mats to make the items.
- We need to be able to fix the Dvergr buildings. I feel like a walking wave of destruction. As soon as I get close to a Dvergr structure it gets destroyed, and I can't do anything to repair it.
- There are too many limitations on what can grow in ML. Unlike most previous biomes where you could plant prior biome crops, have bees, etc., you can't do that in ML, so you can't have a complete base there. That's true for swamp as well, but who wants a main base in a swamp?
- Magic just seems impractical to me, with all the inventory the staffs take, the additional food type that also takes up inventory space and takes away from your standard diet, the special armor, etc. It seems like you either have to go all in, or just don't experience that part of the game.
That's exacerbated by the fact that you're in end-game, and it's not easy to just switch tracks. You're stuck wandering around end-game territory in light armor, with little health, and little skill in the items that you need to protect yourself with.
