I used a ship and the items fell through the ship. I had to throw them because of the heavy encumbrance I ran out of stamina trying to get the character onto the island. I didnt think of the land circle or stamina potions which are great ideas for next time thanks guys!

For now I just spawned in the iron scrap oh well I just think the devs should allow items to land on a ships surface uh hmm!
