Glad you like Valheim! I believe the game still has all that cool stuff that you like. Meadows, Black Forest, Swamps, Mountains, and Plains haven't been deleted.

You seem to dislike the ML content though.

You don't have to go into Mistlands. If you are a completionist, then complete ML and stay out. Don't use ML gear if it is so bad.

The dev's mentioned they would like to make all types of armor viable at end game sometime ago, pre-mistlands (about the time that Root Armor was released).

Example given: the Padded Armor mitigation from armor negates about as much poison damage as the Root Armor's poison resistance stats. Now, I could complain about how Root Armor is pointless if I wear Padded, since Padded is effective against all damage types, or I could look at the set bonus to skills from Root, the fact that it looks cool, or even that it is light armor and value my mobility and minor stat buffs according to my particular play style above Padded tanky slow viking.

+1 expansions is old WoW hat, amigo. Btw, your avatar looks killer! I love the Blood dripping orc face.

Anyway, I don't expect linear +1 progression add-ons. I don't want a game that outdates all of its prior content just because they patched some expansion in with the next +1 better stuff.

That +1 expansion hamster wheel is where everybody races to get the next +1 Best in Slot and then complain about lack of content. I pray that Valheim intends not to do that.

I do agree that it would be nice to be able to upgrade the new gear sets to lv3 or 4, it would be nice to have magic bolts, and it would be nice if I could see farther than the front of my longship in the mist. You make a lot of good points, have some sauce, my friend!
