Sea Serpents are the number one insulting things in the game. All the effort .. finding one with a hidden time limit unless you hunt them in a storm. Dragging it with the far to hard to use harpoon to shallow waters only because 2/3 of the drops it has sink instantly. Playing head or tail what happens sooner.. you arriving at a beach or your longboat breaking.

Really not worth the hassle. Even if the serpents are cool. Everything attached to the cool concept is just headache inducting. Might be nice on a 10 player server where 5 people help you dragging it while one dude focuses on sailing the boat. But solo or even duo.. it's beyond meh.
