To all who are returning for a Mistalnds play-though you can no longer play offline LAN. This probably changed with the crossplay patch, but now each player will need a unique steam ID and an internet connection to connect to a dedicated server on the same router.

Are you able to connect more than just the computer with the dedicated server and if yes can you please tell me how.
Both my son and I have our own copy of the game but can not connect through dedicated server through the router or home network.

Friends from the internet can connect but I can not connect to my sons dedicated server on his computer through our router.
