I'm with hazelrah & Fzanco (post H&H) on this one and Manwith Noname for pre-H&H. A big part of my opinion on this is from hanging out on the starter island of my seed for +1000 Game Days (remember I'm still Bronze Age). I'm repetitively harvesting yellow burial mushrooms and otherwise retracing my paths multiple times across the local Black Forests. This has given me a good view of how a particular POI behaves over a long time. The burial chambers with the seemingly respawning skeletons are in areas I have not explored prior to the update so I'll be checking out my older haunts to see if they behave in the same way.
