I mean, i like the idea of expanding the combat,
i just thought that could be done within what the game already sold,
maybe add more movesets for weapons, dual wielding?

magic could come as altar to thor for buffs to a berserker build, or to freya for a valkyrie,
jewelry instead of staves

I like those ideas to make existing combat deeper, maybe even augments for existing weapons to change or boost damage types. I have mixed feelings about magic but I'm also ok to be surprised by the developers.
