Disclaimer: I haven't actually tried this. It may just spawn picked ones lying on the ground ready to be picked up rather than growing plants. It's worth trying in any case,

Yeah, I know the how to spawn things (as my OP says, I've been doing it already) but I assume doing that is likely to cause the same item to spawn in the same spot over top each other.
