Seems to me that the achievements are really there for someone to have a visible "Look at me and how awesome I am" page for other players to oogle at.

Having the achievements doesn't affect my enjoyment, nor do I care, but to each their own I guess. Again though...it's Early Access. I doubt that was at the top of the priority list even if they intended to add them. If they did, it would be near completion.

People expressing opinions. For or against. Free expression. I for one think achievements are dumb. That's my opinion. What's the problem? Does every comment have to be positive? Do people have such fragile personalities that they cannot handle an adverse opinion?
