My concern is that Valheim has already sold nearly all the units it will ever sell. There are no subscriptions, or microtransactions, which means the cash flow has stopped. The devs are all set for life, none need ever work again. Hiring help will not drive more sales, it will just eat into their money pile.

So what is their incentive to keep working on the title?
