It doesn't bother me so much as it seems artificially limited. Specially iron which is in a hilariously way, almost ironic, pun intended. Btw. But seriously. They could have had other items needed instead of like ore, with restrictions embedded into the same blueprints.

I mean, an iron mace weighs 2kg, but the iron ingots needed is 200kg or something.
