I think you're not seeing the point of peoples worry though, people want this game to be the best it can be, and not be yet another abandoned or cut short early access game with its potential never fully realized. There's some to suggest there's some developement problems, mostly a lack of clear direction and quite possibly misallocation of funds but that's just speculation technically right now, but considering they musta spent a boatload of cash to get a fully animated trailer for Hearth and Home, a very meh update, it makes me question what that dev money is actually going to, especially since out of nowhere they're focusing on crossplay instead of quality of life and content updates.

You also push dates back enough and people get suspicious that maybe you're fumbling your development? I think that's reasonable. They should've just shutup from the get go if they couldn't meet any of their dates. Personally I'm just miffed there's still day 1 bugs in the game but they for some reason went to focus on crossplay instead, and the next biome isn't even out yet and probably not for a while.

The devs deserve criticism and I am skeptical if they can hold the ship together for a solid 1.0 release, with the way they've handled things. I would GLADLY be proven wrong though, but until then all we can do is wait.

We are talking about a $19.99 purchase for an early access game that has surpassed ALL expectations! Lighten up and enjoy the ride. I have!
I mean, I have enjoyed the ride, quite a bit, and I'd like to enjoy the ride even further. Gunfire Reborn another game I've been enjoying I got for less than 20, and content and balance fixes are very regular with that game, there's a lot of love going into that one. Different genre sure, but it's still a dev with limited resources still putting as much as they can into the game and the community has their respect because of it, even if they really don't have to keep supporting the game at this point as that one is out of EA. Phasmophobia has also done a great deal of support updating their game more than Iron gate has and that game is literally like 2 people.

I'm not being overly negative I'm just acknowledging the mistakes and want to see the game be even better, why wouldntcha want it to be even better? as such, you gotta criticize what you love.
