I would like to point out one thing related to steam and games sold on Early access. You can read it in full on the game's store page or the explanation link in said area.

Early access games are sold as is. They could continue development or stop entirely. You must be very excited for the game as once you buy it, it could continue to be worked on, or it could fail entirely.

Steam is very clear about this.
Buy at your own risk any game in EA.

There are several titles that have failed already, I own two titles personally that went under before they was finished.
