It's not cheating. Though it IS removing part of the game's intended gameplay loop. (the exploration/searching part)

For people who don't want to do this: You can find the location of the second boss in crypts. If you "use" those stones with red glowing runes on them in crypts they give you a location marker for the second boss.

Well I used that to locate the second boss, but he was just a blip on a map in a field of grey. Absolutely no clue was given as to what sortof land mass he was on, or how damned hard it would be to get there !!!!!!!!
