I've cleared 2 villages now. The "village" fulings never seem to come back, but I do get the occassional 1-2 roving fulings that walk in and harass me while I'm farming flax and barley (you can only plant these crops in the Plains).

I cleared the first village, took the Totem that was in the center of it, built a small "teleport" house (workbench, bed, portal and a couple chests) and reap/sow my crops every few days. Most of the time I never see a Fuling unless I'm out after dark. I have yet to see a single deathsquito in my little village since I cleared it.
