The ice staff is kind of good against seekers, the summoned skeletons become pretty strong at high skill level, combined with blood staff protection bubble they‘re helpfull. But overall magic is rather underwhelming and i don‘t really use it anymore, maybe this will change once you can upgrade galdr table further.
