You need a lot of iron to make those iron wood poles though, blocks are big in the game so you need a lot of space to make a realish castle. Also RIP FPS.

I personally prefer to make smaller wooden buildings that are more spread out, also saves your FPS a bit.

I always make things in a lower scale, like house-sized castles and three meter tall walls for protection. Don't forget the moats, too!

Building is really fun. I intend on making a palace someday, perhaps a hall.
