I have a similar problem with other survival games as well. But, Valheim is particularly bad (at least in my opinion).

I think Minecraft generally does a good job with resource gathering. Diamonds are the only resource in that game that get tedious. So, it isn't that I have a problem with survival games in general. Just the ones that take up too much time.
