I gather that you are relatively new to the game. To recover your equipment alone, I suggest that you land in another biome near that swamp. Build a portal there, linked to your base. If you die again, you'll want a shortcut. Eat up to raise your hp and stamina. Run to your body and recover your gear. Don't pick up anything along the way, since you want everything at once. Emptying your gravestone will give you the "Corpse Run" buff, which will grant increased damage resistance and fast hp/stam regen. Don't bother suiting up, just run back to your portal.
If you reach out to other players, they'll know what they're doing.
Advice for the future:
1) Do not enter biomes you are not prepared to handle. With upgraded bronze armor, you're probably equipped for the swamp, but you should have good food (First time in swamps: Deer Stew, Carrot Soup, Cooked Deer Meat/Queen's Jam/Boar Jerky.) and Poison Resistance mead. Learning enemy behavior, damage resistance/vulnerability, and attack patterns is a matter of experience and observation.
2) Do not make initial landfall in swamps or plains. Those biomes are very hostile. It is better to land nearby, set up a forward base, and venture in from there. You will make a known and relatively safe path as you go. If you do happen to die, you'll have a jumping-off point to pick up from.
3) Consider carrying along the materials for a portal so that you can jump home at any time. In addition to easy access to your storage, resources, and bed, you'll also have the means to pop back in should you die, but only if you build it first. Preparation is your best defense in this game. Before you ever have a "Hold my mead" moment, give yourself the opportunity to recover.
