The seekers themselves could be either less damaging or have less hp. Once you get more then one, it's not possible to get behind them and deliver proper damage. They gang up on you, specially in the mines and if you get out and come back, they are waiting for you right at the entrance. Sick of dying, over and over, and going stealth all the time just makes the game boring.

They've already made some changes to seeker behavior and many other things on the PT branch.
