I'm pretty sure that I've had more problems fighting wolves in the mountains on slopes, than any enemy in the Mistlands. Maybe it is because its now so ingrained in me not to engage anyone on slopes. Also few enemies hang around those really steep cliffs in the Mistlands. They are almost always on somewhat flat ground, in contrast to the mountains, where wolves often attack when you are climbing up and there is no flat ground nearby.
