Seems more like the devs are intent on adding "bling" content to swamp and mountains over finishing Mistlands to keep players in the game instead of going and playing something else. Pity is that if they put the effort they spent adding 2 new mobs, some drops and a low tier armor set they Mistlands would be that much closer.

There were obvious gaps in the progression before that have been filled in now (like the iron buckler)...
