If you have the patience & resources, try to double layer stone walls to counter the dirt clipping through the side of the inner wall, wood walls are way too thin for it not to clip through it. So one (inner layer stone wall for what ever you build) second layer makes up the slope difference in the dirt, and then when you raise ground on the outside edge of the second layered wall (outer wall, but placed next to the inner wall) the slope of the dirt would essentially be hidden, and will also reinforce with strong foundation (blue) colour.
