On thing to keep in mind is as you place pieces it takes time for the game to calculate the structural integrity. So if you build or place pieces fast they may show green but change to red after some time as it calculates things.

You can use this to quickly place pieces that wouldn't stay up individually, but are capable of supporting each other when they're all in position.
