Yeah I am totally for using mods to have that kind of freedom. But for the sake of forward compatibility I'm waiting until there is a more complete game to mod off of.

I've dabbled with mods in other games more than long enough to have a thorough understanding about how I can alter my games without ruining them for myself.

A thing I would like is a flatter power curve. I often feel like I'm stuck in this awkward place in progression where I feel overpowered for my current biome but still undergeared for the next. At any one time there are too few kinds of mobs that fall in the sweet spot where they are not so weak that they can't outdamage your health regeneration, and not so strong that survival becomes more about abusing their limited pathing capabilities.

But I would probably also put fire geysers in the black forests too. Nobody needs coal and cores as badly as someone in bronze age does.
