I outran 3 greys with Eikthyr power on. I know they were the same ones because one was hit. The only dwarves I've seen dropping aggro are brutes and shamans. Greylings and greydwarves only drop aggro (in my experience) when reaggroing another mob (because they tend to die to them, mostly). They've even chased me by sea throwing rocks at my raft.
Not to say the incredible distances they cover to stick their noses where they don't belong. I've coexisted with a troll not too far from base and he never came after my things even if I was building and making noise. Dwarves are always pestering my bees or throwing rocks at my ship.
