Puns aside, with the music track at low volume and my primary goal being not to just beat the game I find the materials collecting almost therapeutic. This is unlike most survival games that essentially require a bunch of grind to just stay alive hanging by a thread.

I don't know what all this talk is about mining. I easily spend the majority of my time building.

Easily.

This game is loosely a survival game, nothing like say, Green Hell. And while I enjoy Green Hell for it's survival mechanics, it has a very poor building system. And I'm fine with that, because it's primarily a survival game.

If I want to survive, I play Green Hell. If I want to explore, build and be creative, I play Valheim.
