you shouldnt be fighting trolls yet. that said its not that hard to beat the event even with tier 4 simple bow and some fire arrows. i think altering the terrain is a mistake, just learn to dodge and parry, and always dodge even if you think you are out of range when they have a log. i get your frustrated but if this is your breaking point, your not going to enjoy the rest of the game.
