Thunderstore is probably the mod site you are referring to. Having used both extensively, I can give my full endorsement to the thunderstore for its incredible ease of use and intuitive Ui. I no longer use Nexus.

I'm assuming since you don't even know the name of the "new site" modders are "leaving" nexus for that you haven't used it. So how can you judge nexus as "still the best"?
