You have to be able to see to find your way to clear patches, there's generally nothing in them anyway, the tools they give you to clear mist do nothing useful, and you can't see any ground from up high so that's entirely pointless.

Clearly mistlands is broken and unplayable.

The only interesting things in ML are lit up, which you can see from up high. The clear areas are only of interest if you want to see the vistas, which some seem to want to do, or build, since it's easier to build in the clear areas.

Others have figured out how to get around just fine, so continuing to say that it's unplayable is just pointless.
