It's actually not that bad for basebuilding; only the skeleton surprise can occur in mistlands once the Queen has been felled (if the Fandom wiki is still up to date on that, not sure). Future invasions by armies of Forsaken likely can reach the biome, but that is a double-edged sword as well: They can become under attack by neighboring dvergr or the relatively powerful mistlands creatures.
