Totally agree with this statement. I've been working in software development since the late 1990s. Consumers/clients often believe hiring more people means things will go faster, but in fact, we're not talking about production-line work where people monotonously pack and assemble things. We're talking about understanding the internalized system in which the game is produced. More heads mean more ideas, more methods, more chances of causing problems. A smaller team means a better means to keep to structure and less chance to screw up along the way.
