Second major point __having to give up the fishing line to play whack-a-mole with baddies, surely a middle click to plant the pole, whack-GD or whatever..then return to pole with fish still on line.. not lose two trollfish because a GD wanders near me.. and lose 2 bait!

ummm there is one fish that matters.. Angler Fish. they make the best stam food in the game. also, fish from a boat.. it's 10x easier to feel in fish and mobs won't be an issue.
