Iron crypts with spawners and archers can be a pain and the bonuses on the set are ideal for it....

The only problem is by the time you get enough roots for the armor you probably have plenty of iron going. Unless you want the speed/stealth thing it isn't worth getting at all.

Yeah that's what I was thinking in terms of acquiring the materials you would probably have enough iron for a set before getting enough roots, and I just don't see the other benefits being worth sacrificing the ability to take more hits even for a stealthy build, at least if you are playing solo.
